The pattern is printed by hand using a carved wooden block and then dyed in natural plant material giving it the beautiful shade of red. The cracks in the design looks like batik printing and comes from the cracking of mud paste. The fabric is made of cotton that's sourced from organic farmers, then hand spun and hand woven on the handloom.
